Let's break down to the basic sciences we have and look at the kinds of topics that would come up around Christmas.

  • how fast would Santa need to travel to deliver presents to Children around the world?
  • How does the light reflect of tinsle and decorations on a christmas tree
  • Astronomy at Christmas time is also interesting. For example some astronomers have tried to determine what the nativity star may have been during the time of the birth of Christ.

snow flakeChemistry of Christmas - This might cover topics such as the science of cooking Christmas foods. Burning sugar for example introduces more carbon creating a kind of caramel.
