GarageBand Basics This page is a very rough guide to get you started in Apple's GarageBand software. It is not comprehensive but does try to be a bit visual. To start with... open up garage band
Basically you should start with pressing on the little 'eye button' and the loop selection should appear at the bottom. There are heaps of great sound loops here.
By selecting the edge of the loops you've added you can make them repeat or stretch them out a bit. You can also shift 'lengths' of loops around or sometimes move them to other tracks.
if you like what you hear you can then save the audio by going up to the share menu item...
if you choose send song to iTunes, it will be a big file size ( if it is like 3min song), it is good idea then to use itunes to convert it to AAC in the Advanced Menu of iTunes. if you choose Export song to Disk it will make it an AAC file a much smaller file you can then put on your iPod or email.
