Rhodium is mostly used as an alloy for catalytic converters for cars. It also known as one of the noble metals because they easily resist corrosion in moist air.

Use, natural applications or common combinations: 

  • Catalytic converter - as one of the catalysts in the three-way catalytic converters in automobiles.
  • Jewellery -  It is electroplated on white gold and platinum to give it a reflective white surface.
