Why is Fiction writing important and valuable?
Storytelling teaches a person skills to do with language. A storyteller is better equipped to express themselves, to order their ideas, to persuade others to their point of view, and to give others an insight into an experience they do not know. |
Writing fiction is used in the entertainment industry for screenplays, novels and theatre scripts. The self-expression of fiction writing is useful in communication-related employment. The persuasion aspect is useful in arenas including politics. Fiction can also provide insights that give readers deeper empathy, stronger understanding, or a fuller knowledge of their society or world.
