Who are Bardot? Bardot are an all Australian girl band that play some pretty cool music, most of the time anyway. The group consists of : Belinda Chapple Tiffany Wood Sophie Monk Sally Polihronas

Can they really be ClearlyExplained? Well probably not but that doesn't really matter. This site just gives you a real quick review of who they are.       Perhaps the only way to explain Bardot is to consider how people think. Why are Bardot important? This is really asking why music is important, we all need a bit of entertainment and they seem to be helping the pop music industry along fairly nicely. Or is it their video clips? There are obviously alot of fans out there so they seem to be making somebody happy

Why this Bardot site? Actually it is a bit of an experiment. Their official site, the UK version at least, is great except it is a little slow and needs a flash pluggin. I was also a bit bored one Sunday afternoon.

How do Bardot work? How does any band or group work? Well they obviously have a very supportive managment team and it would seem that they all seem to get along pretty well. What is their typical working day? Not sure, but I would guess it is doing lots of rushing around and more practice and is likely to be one Public relations and promotions event after another. Though I guess they get to chill out on the weekends on occasion.

Work? what work?... just kidding.

What is the history of Bardot? In case you were wondering, the extra girl is Katie Underwood but she left the group sometime in May 2001.   For the biography of the individual girls? check out their official site...

The group was formed from a TV reality show on the seven network, called Popstars in about the year 2000. They somehow were selected out from a whole bunch of auditions and after a few weeks, hey presto! a band formed. Discography Single Name Release date Poison 10th April 2000 Should've never let you go 29th May 2000 These days 28th August 2000 ASAP 23rd July 2001 "Warner Music Australia and Screentime announce that Katie Underwood, member of Bardot, will be departing the group due to personal career opportunities. Warner Music, Screentime and the remaining members of Bardot wish Katie every success for the future. Belinda Chapple, Sophie Monk, Sally Polihronas and Tiffany Wood remain as Bardot and will be releasing their brand new single "ASAP" in early June." source

The Future of Bardot? As a well run group they are likely to be around for while, it is hard to tell how long the group itself will last but based on the way such groups work they may, in time, branch out in different directions. But no one can really know much about the future.
