by Richard Conan-Davies

Psychology researchers in the USA have shown that having a family meal really can help teenagers bond better and deal with the world much better.

In research led by Dr Eisenberg of Univeristy of Minnesota her team determined these positive associations of meals times by surveying 4,746 adolescents from diverse communities in the Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota area.

The researchers recommended public education on the benefits of family mealtime as being highly beneficial to the mental and emotional well being of teens.
