Avoiding cataracts* could be as easy as making sure you eat your leafy greens at dinner. This is according to some recent research led by scientists at Ohio State University.

Exposure to ultravioletlight is a leading cause of cataract formation and it seems from research led by Dr. Joshua Bomser , that lutein and zeaxanthin which are types of antioxidants found in plants such as kale, spinach can help protect lense cells in the eye from suffering too much damage from UV light.
