Increasing life
expectancy for men by 6.5 years and women by 5
years may be just a matter of eating daily portions
of wine, fish(or 4 times a week) dark chocolate,
fruits and vegetables, almonds and garlic.
This polymeal was
developed by a team from Monash university and a
group from the Netherlands studying scienctific
literature over the years that looked at the health
benefits of different food groups. It was in
response to the development of a Polypill that
reduces your risk of health problems. So they
thought a polymeal might do the trick
instead.
Dr Anna Peeters ,
who led the study explained to Monash Univeristy
that "The polymeal is an effective,
non-pharmacological, safe, cheap and tasty
alternative to the polypill that will reduce
cardiovascular morbidity and increase life
expectancy in the general population,"
