The southern hemisphere night sky February 2006

9 February 2006
by Richard Conan-Davies

This image is a guide to help you find your way around the night sky during January. Here we highlight the North western sky from the Southern Hemisphere and some of the constellations.

During February at about 11.50pm 9 February 2006 you are able to see the planet Saturn although Mars is becoming a little harder to see at this time of night. The bright moon may also make observering the faint stars a little more difficult.
