The southern hemisphere night sky January 2006

This image is a guide to help you find your way around the night sky during January. Here we highlight the North western sky from the Southern Hemisphere and some of the constellations.

During January at about 11.50pm 16 January 2006 you are able to see the planet mars and the constellation Pleiades , a group of very bright young fast burning stars.
