Caffeine makes a person more vulnerable to agree when asked about different issues according to new scientific research in Australia.
The tests conducted include asking people how they felt on certain controversial social issues such as voluntary euthanasia and abortion after having several cups of coffee.
Results have shown that coffee and the absorption of caffeine in a person’s body not only increases overall alertness and putting them in a good mood, but also enhances their capacity to process information as well as being able to improve their ability to listen and concentrate when being read a persuasive message.
Expert from Monash University, Professor Pradeep Nathan talks about the physiological effect of caffeine on an individual’s brain. He explained to ABC online “It does improve attention and it can improve memory so by being more attentive and remembering your attitude to a particular thing may change.”
With these research results in mind, advertising companies of caffeine products may improve their sales by specifically targeting consumers at particular times of the day to maximise product potential. |
