NiMh Battery - Nickel Metal Hydride A type of rechargeable battery made with nickel and hydride as the active components. These batteries have a less signficant 'memory' loss issue compared with NiCd type batteries. They tend to 2-3 times as much energy as an equivalent NiCd battery making them effective for digital cameras. But these batteries have a higher resistance making them less effective for very high drain devices like toy cars or power drills. see also NiCd Related Links NiMH Batteries- Wikipedia
