Google now accepting your videos

14 April 2005
by Richard Conan-Davies

Google is now officially accepting your videos for inclusion on it's video search engine.

Google is allowing people to view these videos for free or a fee as set by the person who loads up the video. The catch though is that the more text you can include with your video the better it will be for the web video searcher.

It could be that some companies may use this as away of distributing their content. Will major studios take this up as a method of video on demand?

The software for downloading files to Google video is only available for windows operating system at present.

Google video is hoping to hold possibly terabytes  of video from anyone who owns the copyrights.
