Intel introduces new entertainment chip8 January 2006 Two platforms and
several content alliances that provide a foundation
for new experiences from digital entertainment and
wireless laptops have been introduced by Intel.
In addition a new
style of processor called Intel® Viiv™
technology was introduced to make entertainmnet
around the home easier. "With our new
platforms, we're not only boosting wireless
computing, but also advancing digital entertainment
a few steps closer to effortless," explained Intel
CEO Otellini. These and other
developments are claimed to bring millions of
songs, movies, programs and games to the PC in
2006.
